Renogy Batteries Complete Spec Sheet (Smart Lithium, Core, Deep Cycle AGM)
Renogy sells three 12V battery lines that RV owners compare most: the Pro Series Smart Lithium (self-heating, Bluetooth), the Core Series (budget LiFePO4), and the Deep Cycle AGM. The Pro is the only one of the three that can charge below freezing. It charges down to -4°F because its heater warms the cells first.
This page documents the 100Ah model in each line, sourced from renogy.com product pages and FAQs. Specs were verified November 6, 2026.

The key split is cold-weather charging. Only the Pro has a heater. The Core batteries protect themselves by refusing charge below 32°F, which is safe but means no charging in a cold bay. AGM has no BMS at all.

How the Pro's self-heating actually works
Renogy's FAQ spells out the conditions. The heater draws power from your charger, not from the battery. It switches on when the cells are between -4°F and 41°F. It needs two things to run: charger voltage at least 0.5V above battery voltage, and more than 4A of charge current per battery. The heater shuts off once the cells pass 50°F, and normal charging takes over.
That has a practical consequence. A weak solar trickle on a cloudy winter morning may not clear the 4A threshold. In that case the heater will not start, and the battery will not charge. Size your solar or DC-DC charger so each battery sees more than 4A when you need winter charging.
The Pro is also parallel-only. If you plan a 24V or 48V bank, the Core line supports series wiring and the Pro does not.

The Core Mini is Renogy's smallest 100Ah LiFePO4 battery. It suits teardrops and small trailers. It needs 2 to 4 inches of clearance above the battery and 8 inches on the busbar side, per Renogy's sizing guide.
Renogy also sells a Core Mini with "DuoHeat" heating in some regions. That variant is listed with a charge range down to -22°F. Check availability on the US store before planning around it.

AGM numbers are not directly comparable to LiFePO4 numbers. Renogy rates the AGM at 50% depth of discharge, so each cycle delivers about 50Ah of usable capacity. A LiFePO4 cycle at 80% DoD delivers about 80Ah. Per usable amp-hour delivered, the AGM costs roughly 11 times more than the Core Mini.
Cost Per Cycle, Shown
| Model | Price | Cycles used | Cost per cycle | Usable Ah per cycle | Cost per usable 100Ah delivered |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pro Smart Lithium 100Ah | $579.99 | 5,000 at 80% DoD | $0.116 | 80Ah | $0.145 |
| Core Mini 100Ah | $307.99 | 5,000 at 80% DoD | $0.062 | 80Ah | $0.077 |
| Core 100Ah Group 24 | $318.99 | 6,000 at 80% DoD | $0.053 | 80Ah | $0.066 |
| Deep Cycle AGM 100Ah | $208.99 | 500 at 50% DoD | $0.418 | 50Ah | $0.836 |
The Pro costs about twice as much per cycle as the Core batteries. What that premium buys is winter charging, IP67 sealing, and a 7-year warranty term instead of 5 years prorated.
Consistency Note: Renogy vs Battle Born in the Cold
Older Renogy lithium batteries without heaters stop charging at 32°F. The current Pro Series charges to -4°F once its heater warms the cells. Battle Born's standard batteries block charging below 25°F, and its Heated models add internal heating. Our Battle Born vs Renogy comparison uses these same figures.
